Haze is a phenomenon caused by the occurrence of numerous tiny particles, not seen by the naked eye, floating around in the atmosphere. These particles, existing in a large quantity, aggregate and block the sunlight from reaching the earth. As such, our visibility would be greatly compromised.

Sources of haze derive primarily from open burning, smokes from factories and the wasted gas emitted by vehicles.

The public should distance themselves from activities that may generate haze.
